COURSE REQUIREMENTS AND ASSIGNMENTS

I expect all students in this class to become highly knowledgeable, skillful professionals who are life-long learners and activists for social justice. To demonstrate professionalism as prospective educators, each student should:

  • be responsible for submitting assignments in a timely manner and contacting me if they are not able to follow the course schedule for any reasons.
  • work hard on assignments to develop knowledge, skills, and attitudes to be competent, skillful, responsive educators/teachers.
  • Educational psychology course requires students to understand a lot of concepts and their applications. Therefore, checking students’ understandings of basic concepts is necessary. The exams are designed to complete this purpose (course objective #1 and # 2) unlike other courses in a graduate program.
  • Discussion assignment is designed to mainly accomplish the course objectives # 2 and # 4.
  • Presentation assignment is designed to mainly accomplish the course objectives # 3 as well as other objectives as a whole.
  • Class PPT will be posted every Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm.
  • Assignments are explained in the box below
