Description
This course examines theories and explanations of the causes of crime, and the evaluation of the role
of social structure in the behavior of individuals. Upon completion of this course, students will apply
social science theories and explanations of the causes of crime, and evaluate issues related to theories
of crime in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, and socially-stratified society.
