Description

The course provides an overview of the rules and procedures that pertain to pretrial and trial stages
of criminal proceedings. Students will gain knowledge about differences between misdemeanors and
felonies, the responsibilities of various actors/institutions in the criminal justice system, and the rules
designed to ensure fairness and protect constitutional rights.
