Before joining the faculty of Piedmont International University in 2015, I was a missionary in France (1989-2001), received a PhD from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (2001-2005), where I also taught as an adjunct professor. I also have taught online at Tennessee Temple University (2006-2015), at Liberty University (since 2009), and Luther Rice College and Seminary (2012-2021).

My areas of interests are Missions, Christian Education, and Biblical Studies. My research specialization is qualitative research, and I have held local church, mission agency, and seminary leadership positions.

I am married to Trudy. We have three adult children, two children-in-laws, and one grandson.

Description

A critical discussion of several of Christianity’s major strategic competitors in contemporary and continual global society. The systems to be studied include pluralism, postmodernism, open theism, and post-liberalism. The examination includes how these forces affect the world at large and how they are influencing both mainline and evangelical Christians.
