Dr. Adnan Ozyilmaz has joined the Patterson School of Business at Carolina University in the Fall 2022 semester as a Professor of Management. He has taught undergraduate courses such as organizational behavior, management and organization, human resources management, and strategic management over the last two decades at the department of business administration. At master's and Ph.D. levels, he has taught courses such as organizational behavior seminar, a human resources management seminar, strategic management of technology and innovation, and selected topics in management, human resources management, and organizational design.

Dr. Ozyilmaz is the author of many research articles (listed below) published in such top-tier journals in management as Personnel Psychology, The Service Industries Journal, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Journal of Management & Organization, and Personnel Review. He frequently participates in such leading conferences in management as The Annual Meeting of The Academy of Management, The Annual Conference of The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and The Congress of The European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology. Dr. Ozyilmaz is interested in conducting research projects and publishing their results as high-quality research articles in management over the coming years.

Dr. Ozyilmaz took leadership roles in his previous administrative assignments. He served as a Dean for the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management and an Associate Dean for the School of Economics and Administrative Sciences. He also directed the Center for Strategic Research. Dr. Ozyilmaz served as Interim Department Head for Labor Economics and Industrial Relations. His committee memberships/services include University Senate, Academic Evaluation and Quality Development Committee, and University-Industry Collaboration Committee, among many others. In addition, he served as a member of the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee, Member of the Project Review and Decision Committee, and Member of the Exam Committees for incoming Master and Ph.D. students. Dr. Ozyilmaz has supervised many graduate students in the Master of Science in Management and Organization/Business Administration and Ph.D. programs. He managed to finish three projects for around $800,000.00, supported by European Union

Description

This course is designed to facilitate the final refinement and completion of the student’s research dissertation. The course focuses on the student’s IRB application, the conducting of the research activity, the analysis of the research data, the presentation and explanation of the findings, the summary and significance of the research findings in light of the research problem, question, and purpose, the delineation of issues resulting from the findings’ summary, and the preparation of the dissertation defense.
