Jeremiah E. Shipp, Ed.D., is a Faculty Development Specialist at Winston-Salem State University. He serves as a Ministry Director at Love and Faith Christian Fellowship in Greensboro, North Carolina. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Leadership at multiple institutions teaching online courses for graduate students. He is an experienced information technology professional with over 16 years of industry experience in quality assurance, systems support, and project management. He is an intellectual influencer who is committed to excellence. His engaging teaching style inspires and challenges faculty to identify effective technological solutions to bridge the gap between pedagogy and practice. His favorite scripture is Galatians 6:9, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Thomas Owen Jones Jr

As the founder, former CEO, and chairman of BillPayers, Inc., Dr. Jones brings a tremendous amount of experience and expertise to the study of business and leadership. He was a Navy fighter pilot and a commercial helicopter pilot flying in some of the most remote regions on earth for firms engaged in the petroleum industry.  Currently in the process of publishing a leadership textbook, Dr. Jones is also actively contributing to journals such as the Harvard Business Review and presenting his research findings at conferences around the United States. Prior to coming to PIU, he was the dean of two schools of business and created the business program at Greensboro College. Dr. Jones is active in his community as a Presbyterian elder and a member of the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Prison Ministries. He is also actively involved in Kiwanis and Rotary as well as the United Way and The Salvation Army.

Description

This course is designed to facilitate the continuing development and refinement of the student’s research dissertation. The course focuses on those unique areas of the student’s dissertation that may yet require further development, refinement, or alteration. Incomplete or underdeveloped aspects of the student’s dissertation as well as areas identified by the committee as needing further attention may be addressed in this course. The continued development may also include preparation for the dissertation defense.
