Term: 2023-2024 Fall

Faculty

George Wayne Willis

Greetings students, I consider it a great privilege to be your teacher in this course. I graduated from Piedmont Bible College (the name of Carolina University at the time) in 1969 with a Th.B. degree. In 1980 I completed the requirements for the M.Div. degree at Grace Theological Seminary, Winona Lake, Indiana. In May of 2023, I received my Ph.D. degree from Baptist Bible Seminary, Clarks Summit, PA (Clarks Summit University). My dissertation subject was the mediatorial kingdom view of Alva J. McClain.  I taught Bible and theology at Carolina University for over 25 years.

I have also had the privilege of serving as senior pastor of seven churches over a period of thirty-five years and also as interim in seven churches in the Winston-Salem area.

I am the husband of Alice (we met at Piedmont Bible College in 1964). We have been married for 56 years. We have three children (one in Heaven) and eight grandchildren. My family is the most important thing in my life second only to the Lord. I play the guitar and like to fish (but I don't get to do that as often as I would like). Again, it is my honor to be your teacher in this course.
