Dr. Kelsey Koontz is a North Carolina native who has taught elementary students in the Triad and eastern part. She lives with her husband, Jake, and daughter, Lillian (1). She loves to escape to the beach and fish offshore with her dad.  Kelsey also enjoys stitching, embroidering, and making bread. 

Description

This course examines best practices in classroom and behavior management. Students will explore strategies and techniques to create a positive and productive learning environment which will foster student engagement and maximize academic achievement. Topics covered include behavioral expectations and interventions, time-management, managing student work, and organizing classroom space.
