Bio:

My name is Dr. Lance Pickeral. I have a Doctorate in Education from East Carolina University in Educational Leadership, teaching and coaching has been a part of my life for over 15 years. As an educator I truly feel this profession is not just a job, nor a career, but a way of life. The impact and relationships I gain with students are greater than any career you can choose. You all are truly part of the "family." 

I am local to the Piedmont Triad area and have coached at a variety of colleges within the surrounding area. I am a true teacher at heart, valuing best practices and pedagogical practices to influence learning. I have gained a ton of life experience and leadership through athletics. I try to stay active as much as possible by participating in any community sport that I can possibly do! I like mountain biking, snowboarding, softball, baseball, pickleball, and basketball (that's what I coach).
